August vs. September

I have been to Disney in August, I was wandering if there is any difference between the months other than the crowds. The main question I have is the weather.

Weather

September is about the same as August as far as weather goes. If you go at the very end of September into October it may(big emphasis on may) start cooling off a little. I remember one year wearing a windbreaker and it was end of Sept into Oct.

Other than that, the same--rain,humidity,warm.

the difference being, in sept, you can walk right on rides, average wait time in about 5 minutes, the longest I waited for something was a half hour, and that by far was the longest, that was for peter pan, and in august your looking at an average of about a half hour or longer, and sept it rains allot, hands sown i would take sept. and will next time we go.

The only thing I didn't like in September were the nasty little creepy "love bugs" during the week we were there. Apparantly they only come out twice a year and we were unlucky enough to get that week. You couldn't breathe or open your mouth without them flying up your nose or down your throat. Find out when they are supposed to be out before planning a September trip. They really are disgusting.

$$$$ too i think

i think in august it's more expensive too (is it still considered summer season....?) but i could be wrong... we always go in september or february - low season - and crowds as well as prices go down...
