I haven't posted much on these boards, but I spend a lot of time surfing the site, so thank you to all who contribute!

I am just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the audition process for Walt Disney World. I am a vocalist (tenor) and would be auditioning for the a cappella groups like "Voices of Liberty" and the like. Does anyone have any thoughts, tips, or insights they could share? Thanks!

I know that when I was there they would annouce auditions through eyes and ears, the cast portal, and other message boards for cast members. I'm not sure how they announce auditions on the outside, but if anything I would try and get in touch with someone in casting.

I'm a singer also (soprano), and I don't really have much insight, as I've been looking for some myself, but I will be heading down there in May to audition. They have open call auditions the third Friday of every month. I have been unable to find anyone who has been through the audition who is willing to share any information, but I'm still looking. Any little sliver of info from anyone who as been through these (vocal) auditions, would be greatly appreciated.

As of right now, I don't think we have any positions open for the groups. I think those people are equity, which means you would have to get headshots and go to an equity audition (which i'll be honest...they're VERY hard.) But i'm sure you can call casting and find out more information about how you could get involved!
