Attraction Reflections in Imagination!

Howdy! I wanted to start a list of "attraction reflections" (or nods to late or existing attractions) in the Journey into Imagination with Figment attraction.

- SOUND LAB -
Train Effect: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

- SIGHT LAB -
"Follow the bouncing Figment" - audience participation; a technique Walt loved (used in attractions as the Enchanted Tiki Room and Carousel of Progress).

Butterfly in the Cage - Journey Into Your Imagination

- UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE -
For some reason the rotating Figment leading to Figment's house reminds me a LOT of the old attraction. I am not sure why. The television in Figment's living room plays the "Catch Me!" and "Somersaulting Figment" from the old Image Works and Journey into Imagination.

- BACK TO THE INSTITUTE -
The arrows pointing to Figment's route to the Institute remind me a lot of the old Imagination ride. The music picks up to a flavorful suspensful tone (as the music was leading into the old attraction's grand finale) and the signs are similar to that of the old attractions leading to Dreamfinder and Figment talking about Imagination before the finale (i.e. Dreams ----->)

MAJOR NOD: The footprints (Figment's) - the feet in the beginning of World of Motion

- FINALE -
MAJOR NOD: The moon - Horizons
Also, the rainbow pouring into the Mona Lisa reminds me a lot of the final scenes of Spaceship Earth if you know what I mean.

Feel free to add anything you think reflects into this new attraction. An interesting idea - when Channing remarks how Figment is turning the open house upsidedown, Figment nods and examines his fingernails - this reminds me a LOT of Kuzco from 'The Emporer's New Groove.'

Thoughts?

The final scene is kind of a nod to the original Journey into Imagination, where a bunch of different Figments sing the final verse to "One Little Spark" together.

I've only seen a video of this attraction, so I would't be able to notice much else!

Well I have just seen the video but I know of two big nods.
First off there is the "Dean Finder" door early in the ride and probably the biggest nod in the whole ride to me (I can't believe you guys missed it) right beside the "Moon" Dr. Channing there is the "Spaceman" Figment that wants to hitch a ride which is a HUGE nod to the original ride. It is exactly the same thing he did in the original. Come on who dosent remember the thumb sticking out? :-) That was really the main thing that brought a smile to my face. Can't wait to see it in person in one week :-)

You enter a star filled room. Suddenly an exit sign lights up and a pair of doors seem to sear a hole in space. Anyone else thinking of Tower of Terror here? ;)

Where are the pin tables? Did they bring them back? We used to play A LOT with them and also with the colorful floor! :)
