Does anyone know if MK is planning on opening Carousel of Progress and Timekeeper this Memorial Day. I haven't heard anything.

They do seem to be opening them for peak times. I know one thing though: I going to make sure to see them on our upcoming trip 29 June - 6 July; because from all i've seen they may not be around by next year!

why are they closed to begin with? I know many posters in here have stated low attendence and cost as issues, but MK is busy and really with all the CM all over the WDW parks, how many more CM (and additional expenses) would it take to run these two automated attractions?

So far, no news. I would expect it to be open even if they continue with the current statements - Tomorrowland may need relief.

Look for it to be open 95% of June-August :D

I know CoP supposedly costs a fortune to run, because of the older style animatronics. On the other hand I can't see how Timekeeper costs that much.

more expensive then THM or HOP? I agree either upgrade and make use of these attractions or rip them down and replace with something new to add to MK. Personally i liked both and also think MK should be a mix of the new innovative and the classic traditional, but Disney needs to at least do something about these two rides and also 20,000 leagues - big waste of spaces right now.
