Attraction queue

Is it possible and go thru an attractions queue to see all of the themeing but then not ride the attraction. Mostly looking for an answer in regards to ToT at DHS. DS and I really want to see what everything looks like but this is not our type of ride. Do we have to let a CM know at the start of the line? Would wanting to do this cause any problems. Thanks. Leaving for the World in 45 days.

Most rides have chicken exits right at or near loading. So yes, you can experience the queue without actually riding... But once you've come so far... Why not go for it? :drevil:

j/k... Ask the CM at load and they'll divert you to the exit. They don't want people stuck riding if they really don't want to. You won't be bothering them, they do it regularly.

I did that when Mission Space first opened. Since I have no desire to ever go into space...:dazzle:...

I just went through to see the queue, which is really cool.

Seems a strange sort of thing to do - but yes, it can be done (mainly by those that feel brave enough while outside then change their mind the nearer to the front they get)

My mom does it now for ToT and RnRC - she used to have to wait for us at the exit, just sitting there with nothing to do but hold the bags. Now she can experience at least the pre-show and still get to have some fun. Right before we load she can duck out and not have to ride, but at that point it's a mere 5 minute wait or so.

It's perfect for members of your family that don't wish to ride with you, but can still enjoy part of the attraction.
