Attraction Construction

Can anyone provide information on the construction of attractions? Does Disney have their own construction division? or are outside contractors used? For example: Thunder Mountain was built in the late 70's. Who was the contractor/contractors? For such specialized projects there must be many firms involved.

There are indeed many firms involved who are contracted by WDI.

I think Wikipedia would be the best place to look. If its well known (As known as those sort of things are) then it should be on there.:animwink:

Buena Vista Construction Company is one of the major ones used for lots of projects, large and small. It is essentially owned and operated by Disney.
