Gooooooood Morning All. So are you a regimental planner when you arrive inside the magic bubble.? Example..I do a 14 day/night timetable ( laminated ) of early hours/ Shows / ADRS / late hours / etc...Tho it takes gentle persuasion to get my DW & DS into action. When that alarm goes off at 06.30am I'am up like a mad man possessed..( I even used the wake up call from Stitch this year ) Once I round up the party,it's a power walk to our nearest bus depot for that rope drop.So I was wondering, does anyone else do " attack the mouse " or do you just go with the flow.?

Definitely a planner! I do a grid sheet with all the days activities: Breakfast, Morning Park/Activity, Lunch, Afternoon Park/Activity, Dinner, Evening Park/Activity, Must See/Do/Have, Park Hours, Best Days/Crowd Levels...I haven't laminated them yet.;)

I am probably half and half. I do really plan and put down schedules on my iphone, but we do change plans mid-stride if we want and do something totally different sometimes. It really helps to have the wdw app to check out times and restaurants now. That really helped a lot this last trip:)

I'm with you madhatter. Every step is planned and I'm on the ball as soon as daylight breaks over the WDW sign. No way am I gonna miss a second of my vacation time. I've saved and planned and counted down too hard to waste any of it.

I pre-plan more as an activity for myself to help set the "I'm going to Disney World" mood but I never let it get too crazy once I'm actually there.

I usually divide my days in half, starting with a park that doesn't have morning EMH, and ending with the park that does have evening EMH (or stays open the latest).

Once I know where I'll probably be each day I'll make a few ADR's but that's about it. At this point I've been to WDW enough that I know what I like and I know how to see what I want with minimal waits well enough I feel like I can just go with the flow (in an educated way) and not worry too much about keeping to a schedule once I've arrived.

As seen on my trip report we are meticulous non-planners and just wing it.We have a rough idea of what we want to do and when and go by that.Usualy we do the 4 disney parks day by day in no particular order followed by 1-2 days " seaworld then 2-3 at UNI .The rest is just made up of re-visits depending on what we have seen/not done . Or wherever the coffee smells good from :D

One Little Spark...
I tried regimental planning last year, and it didn't work for either of us.

It would make ADRs and Disney's FP+ advance plans and all that better, but I can't control the whims of a 7 year old, and when she want's to do something, she doesn't like hearing "Well, we can do that later" nor does she like "But we have an ADR!"

It takes something away from the parks to have the visit so regulated.

I am a big planner! I make table for park hours, EMH, and where are ADR's are going to be. I am usually awake before the alarm goes off and we are always at rope drop everyday!
