I went on it today, and oh boy. Not only are all the video effects bleached out and fading. But all of the audio save for the last section was broken, not once did I hear the seahorse and only once did I hear the mermaid before the drop. The boats drag along the floor bumping the whole way, I have never seen a ride in such shoddy condition.

Check out most any six flags across the country.

I noticed many of the same issues on Saturday. Surprisingly, the 1 effect that has been broken for years - the door that opens to reveal the fisherman and the seahorse - was working! Everything after that was a HUGE letdown. Many of the audio cues seemed to just be turned off. None of the effects (crashing chandelier, mermaid projections, etc) worked. It's a shame because the ride system is really pretty neat. I wish they would just show that ride some love, fine tune the story and effects, and keep it working.

They can't afford to update anything because the stocks keep falling. Just google Sea World stocks and a zillion pages will come up that explain the current state of affairs.

With Seaworld stock depressed, now would be a good time to buy their stock.
my husband told me the same thing about GM several years ago- when it was $3/share. He wanted to cash out his retirement. I said no. Had we done it, we would now have $35 million dollars :arghh::banghead::facepalm:. If there was only a way to predict who will eventually buy them out, I'd consider it.

While the ride does need some TLC, I just rode it a few weeks ago and it was in fine shape -- everything was working, all the audio was working...so I am not sure what happened between two weeks ago and this week...but as to the boats bumping along the way, they have always done that...they have always felt like they are running over bumps in the trough....
