Me and my friend are going to Disney on June 30th and staying through the 7th of July, thats 8 days. We are both 18 and can eat ALOT OF FOOD, how much money should we both bring, I'm thinking every day we would eat a lil breakfast, moderate lunch, and a nice dinner. Also, can we get into pleasure island by ourselves being 18? thanks!!!!!!!!!

Hey! Welcome to the WDWMagic forums!(sort of) Breakfasts at WDW usually aren't too expensive, I'd say usually a good breakfast would be under $10. A lunch depending on where you eat can be anywhere from possibly under $10 to $10-$15. Snacks can always be a good lunch alternative if you are an on-the-go type of person, especially if you are going to have a big dinner. Dinners I'd say are probably the most expensive of meals you have each day. There really aren't too many places in WDW that aren't nice restaurants, so expect to pay at least $10-$20 per person. For the really elegant restaurants you can pay anywhere from $46 and up. Yeah quite expensive, I know, so I suggest if you are on a more smaller budget, to go for the $10-$20 places. And just cause it's cheaper, doesn't mean the quality isn't as good as any other place!:)

Well, if you eat ALOT, eat at buffets as much as possible. Anywhere from $16 to approx. $24 for all you can eat is a good deal if you eat tons. I'd budget at least $75 per person per day for eating.

If, as you say, you can eat A LOT of food, then buffet will be your best bet for your major meal of the day.

I'm guessing that you're not early morning people--you might want to consider a late breakfast (probably 10-10:30), then an early dinner, with snacks in between.

You may find this site helpful. It has menus and prices for most restaurants in the parks and resorts.

And oh yeah, you can get into Pleasure Island by yourselves, but I'm pretty sure you need ID's.:) That's only after something like 8 o'clock at night though, cause that's when all the clubs open. Anytime before 8 (not sure if it's 8) you can get in no matter what your age. I'm only 15 so I can't go in at night:( grrr...lol

I would eat like pop-tarts for breakfast and pick a buffet for lunch around 1 or so. Then you can eat like a burger and fries for dinner. Plus the buffets are cheaper at lunch.

Yes, you can get into most of PI. I believe the clubs open @ 7 PM. The only 2 you can't get into are Mannequins and the BET Soundstage Club (21+)

Food depends on where you eat. You can always go off property for dinner, or eat breakfast before going to the parks. If you're staying on 192 (Irlo Bronson Mem. Highway) there are tons of places to eat...IHOP, Denny's, etc. There are also places like Friday's for a cheaper dinner.

But if you're set on the parks try to eat before 11 or after 2 for lunch, places tend to be less crowded then.

Do what I always do when in Orlando.

Take breakfast in the way to WDW. We used to eat hamburgers from McDonalds inside the car, in the way to the parks.

Inside the park, eat a HotDog or something like that, DO NOT lose time in eating at fancy places.

After getting out from the park, we went to a Pizza Hut. There we dine. All three meals are cheap and you don spend a lot of time eating.

Some people say that eating in the WDW restaurants is part of the Disney experience, but as a foreign visitor I prefer to ride the rides and spend the less time possible on restaurants. It is very expensive for me to go to Orlando, so I like to spend my time wisely.

There's nothing to eating at Disney on a limited budget!

Grab a cinnamon roll and coffee for breakfast at the parks (less than $5).

Eat a big pretzel or some other junk if you gert hungryaround noon ($3-5).

At around 3:30 - 4:00 go over to one of the buffet places in Epcot like the Biergarten(Germany) or Akershus (Norway). For $20, you'll be set for the night!

There's $30/day MAX!

The secret is to save enough money on the first 3-4 days so you can treat yourself to The Hoop-Dee-Doo review on the 5th day.
For about $50 you get a great buffet meal and a show -- truly a "Disney experience"!

ENJOY!!!!!!

About Pleasure Island, Im sorry, but I wouldn't go there.

I know everyone would kill me for saying this but, there are so many theme parks that going to PI seems a little dull to me.
You are going 8 days. You arrive June 30 and leave Jul 7th.

30.- Go, at night, to the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament, or another show you like so you can exploit the day and dont lose it all in the hotel.

1.- First Park, IOA for example.
2.- Second Park, US for exapmple.
3.- Third Park, Busch Gardens, for example.
4.- Fourth Park, Epcot.
5.- Fifth Park, D/MGM.
6.- Sixth Park, Animal Kingdom
7.- Seventh Park, Magic Kingdom.

Of course, I recomend attaching a day to a park according to schedule. You go to each park the day it closes later than other days. If you don't like the parks I've put here, there is a lot of things to do a lot more entertaining than Pleasure. Typhoon Lagoon, for example, or Holy Land Experience, or Kennedy Space Center, or Sea World (long Live Kraken!!!)...

I recommend you check on Internet the many different parks in Orlando, so you can choose wisely. You will only go there for 7 days, not a whole month.

You are going to need a heck of alot of money. Even if you do eat cheap, you will still be thirsty, and even if you eat well, all that walking makes you hungry again, then you are thirsty. It's like an awful chain. Bring extra money along, even if you don't use it, you will still have it incase you get hungry or need it.
