AS Music Feedback

If anybody needs feedback concerning AS Music, I would be glad to offer it. I have a lot to say about it, as I stayed there twice in 2001.

My family is booked for a week in July. I heard from a friend that since this is considered a value resort the transportaion to the different parks is not efficient and crowded. Did you find that to be the case?

To be honest, we did encounter a 35 minute wait to get on a bus that headed to EPCOT the 1st evening. But after the 1st night we never had any wait longer than 10 minutes for MK, Blizzard Beach, and Downtown Disney. The Cast Members who worked the area were always very nice and patient with us and other resort guests.

Thanks for your honest feedback. We're going in the busiest part of the year, so I expect a lot of crowds. It's diificult to know what the resort atmosphere is like from brochures -- I suspect that it has the Disney magic even though it is less costly than the other on-site resorts.

How was your trip? Did you experience everything you wanted to?

For what I paid for @ AS-music I was very happy. I paid less than $60 per night, and I found the resort to be very pleasing. The things I didn't find too great were the pools, far walks to food court/bus, and size of room. The pools closed pretty early and at all times of day they were very crowded. If you are placed in the back of the property than you will have a nice walk to the food court and bus areas. Also, the rooms seem to be as the size as a Hoilday Inn room. I wasn't very impressed with the room at all.

I was impressed with the Food Court and Gift Shop. The food court was very nice and very cheap (cheap compared to most hotels in WDW). The Gift Shop was very large and have everything you need to satisfy your WDW gift desire. It is a loud resort that is surrounded by children. So, this summer my girlfriend and I chose to upgrade to CBR. We hope our stay is as pleasent as AS-Music, but just a tad more luxury added to our vacation.
