food looks good, but the prices seem high, how much do you get portion wise with a typical meal, how much chicken?

we went a couple of years ago. i got the fried chicken & my wife got the spare ribs. both dishes were good & we were stuffed. i think they gave me 2 good sized pieces of chicken that came with mashed potatoes, veggie, & a biscuit. i made the mistake of ordering a side of mac & cheese. the mac was good, but the chicken dish filled me up.
Portions are quite large in my family’s opinion. We are hearty rural Midwest folk raised on meat, bread, and potatoes and large meals.

I REALLY want to eat here, worried about being able to get a reservation though, they seem pretty scarce!

Art Smith’s is one of our must-dos on every trip…the fried chicken and short ribs are excellent and the Mac & cheese is the best I’ve had at WDW…BRING YOUR APPETITE, and although the mashed potatoes are great, for a small up charge, you can swap them out for the Mac & cheese…even I can’t eat both (trust me, I tried). IF you have room, the deserts are awesome too!

The portions are way too big imo. Get an appetizer or two aver share an entree.
The deviled eggs are incredible. I don't even like deviled eggs and we were fighting over them they were so good.

Prices high? I think this is usually the cheapest meal we eat when at WDW. Portions are very large. My teen boys are regularly referred to as giants and they get full there.

Way too much food, IMO. We did brunch and ordered Deviled Eggs for an app. I ordered the Eggs Benedict on Hush Puppies--holy moly, when I was done with my plate, it didn't even look like I touched it!

Some of the most tasty food in all of WDW/ Downtown Disney. I do agree that the portions are huge.
