Pre-Trip Art of Animation, WL or Poly.

I am planning my family's first trip to disney world and I can't decide where to stay! I have two daughters ages 4 and 2. Every time they see pics of AOA they get so excited. We would be staying in a family suite.... My question is for about the same price we could stay at the Wilderness lodge, but to be honest that doesn't really excite us all that much. We are from Colorado and go to cabins and lodges all the time. So then their is the Polynesian resort which looks really nice but is VERY expensive. Is it worth the extra money? We already have all of our dinners planned inside of the parks? So we would only be eating breakfast at the resort.

I would go with AoA. If your girls are already excited when they see pictures of it, they'll love it in real life! I was also going to mention the construction at the Poly. AoA has a food court, so breakfast will be fairly quick in the mornings, which is probably going to be what you'll want, so that you can get to the parks sooner :)

I would recommend AoA hands down if your staying in a suite. The girls would relate to the decor more there then at the Poly. Plus they would enjoy the food options at the food court a little better at AoA then at the Poly. Either way your family will have a magical time.

It seems like you've answered your own question. Go to AOA.

Also, we're going to AoA. Sure there's more -romantic- resorts, probably more -relaxing-, but the kids hands down picked AoA over the others I showed them. And really, that's kinda what matters. Heck, I'm pretty excited to stay in the Nemo rooms too. They look trippy!
