I didn't stay in a cars suite but I've stayed at the resort and i really enjoyed it there. We will be going back. It was fun to do the walk over the bridge to POP. Food court has many options. The main pool is awesome and the statues and animation all through out the resort is really fun to explore.

How long is the walk? You know I frown upon any kind of exertion ;)

We are going to AOA/Cars in November....we stayed at AOA twice, at Nemo & Lion King...IMO, it's the BEST themed resort on property...great pool. decent food court, and very good bus service. If you guys are "little kids at heart" and Disney fans like we are, you WILL LOVE IT!!! Enjoy your trip!!

I've stayed in all the sections except Finding Nemo. If you can tack on the extra $5-10 per night to stay in the Nemo rooms I'd do that.
The Cars section is really nice in its theming outside, but for whatever reason it always felt like a longer trek than getting to the Lion King rooms and I've had to ask to be moved out of two rooms in the Cars buildings because they were looking too beat up/rundown, which I haven't had happen in any other section.

Has anyone ever stayed in the Cars Suite at the Art of Animation Resort..?
We have stayed in Cars and are about to stay again (25 days and counting) My two daughters absolutely loved it and requested it this time. Walk from food court can be a bit long but hey get those steps in after the amazing deserts that will be had. The Cozy Cone pool is themed very well and nice to go to if you are looking for a bit of a quieter time in the pool.

I've stayed in the Cars Suites three times and loved it each time. The whole resort can be a bit noisy, but I bring a noise maker with me, so that usually drowns out most of it. I'd always ask for the top floor, though because kids running around or jumping off of furniture onto the floor is annoying if it's right above you. Cars are Lion King are basically the exact same distance from the lobby (look at Google Maps). Mermaid is the super far away neighborhood.
