Arriving MCO, no DME, 1 year old, no carseat.

Alright, so the family and I are traveling to Orlando this Sunday, but for the first part of my trip, I'm there for business and staying on I-Drive and up until this point, I felt comfortable grabbing a cab with the baby, no babyseat. But now I'm having second thoughts hearing that some cab companies won't take a child without seat, etc.

Can I get an Uber from MCO or are they not allowed to pickup, only drop off? Uber Family has a car seat, but it's for 22lbs or more and my daughter is at 19 lbs @ 14 months.

I only have to worry about airport to conference hotel, then conference hotel to POFQ. We have DME for our way home.

You can bring the car seat on the plane or gate check the item at the gate and they will not put it on the carrousel with the rest of the bagge to ensure better handling. I just did this with 3 car seats last week. Granted we used these for a rental car, I'm not sure about hooking up a car seat into a taxi.

I'm thinking we're going to rent a car now. May be safer

Your welcome. My resort is also on International drive, having a rental car may be an easier and cheaper way to get around. Especially if you are doing things besides Disney.
