My boyfriend and I are arriving in Orlando around 12pm, at Disney World by 2pm,Oct. 2nd. What are some suggestions to what we should go see 1st once we get checked into our room? Lisa

At that time of year I would say either hit Epcot or the Studios followed by PI. I'm gonna be there with my gf at the same time maybe we can meet and the four of us have dinner. I'd like to meet some of the people on this fourm, I've had a good time reading all the posts.

What should you do first?

In my opinion, it would depend on what type of passes you have. I wouldn't want to waste a day's admission at a park if I was only going to be able to use it for part of the day.

Perhaps you should just settle in at your hotel, go to the pool and relax. Because there won't be much relaxing after that!

Maybe go to dinner in the evening and head to the market place and walk around and shop

Whatever you deceide have a great trip.

Oh the whole thing I posted before was kind of a joke as ShortNSassy is my girlfriend and she is the one going with me, I was just giving her suggestions and letting her know some stuff we could do. Anyway, we are gonna be there from the 2-9 and we are going to have the 7 day hopper+ I think we're gonna do IoA (yes I know it's not Disney, but I'm a coaster junkie) for one day and if my friend is employed at Sea World by then we're gonna do that (free). Any help y'all can provide will be greatly appreciated. We are staying at the Comfort Suites Villas Maingate East, and we will have a rental car. Thank you again for your help.

Hang out by the pool when you get to your hotel. Or take a nap:snore: to rest up for a late night at PI. Have dinner at one of the restaurants before beginning to party. I like the House of Blues.

I say it all depends on how many days you are staying. If they are enough to see all of the WDW parks, my suggestion is that after checking in, go to your room (since they let you after 12.00pm) , put on a swimsuit and head straight to one of the water parks. I would choose Typhoon Lagoon, but you also have Blizzard Beach. Those parks can be done really quick in less than 4 hours. This way no only you don't waster half a day, but you get to see the water parks which are really spectacular.

When I get there around the same time, I like to just relax a bit.. go out somewhere to eat.. maybe stop by the marketplace. Generally take it easy because the rest of the trip is mostly non-stop for me. :)

I also go to IOA/Universal every time. I love Disney, but I also love doing both Universal parks. It's part of my trip every time.

I am for real going to be there at the same time. My daughter and I are going on the third. We also will be arriving at 12pm. I got a PS for Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I want it to be an early first night because we have a jammed pack day at MK for the next day. Last time we went, we arrived around 2pm and spent that day at AK and seen almost everything before closing.
