For anyone who is wondering about seeing this movie...GO SEE IT!!!! I went to a special sneak preview of the movie last night with my boys and it was fabulous. We laughed through the whole movie and the theatre was packed and everyone laughed and loved the movie. I wasn't too overly enthused from the trailers for the movie, but I see them all anyways. When I got the opportunity to go see it last night I jumped at the chance. I will gladly go see this movie again next week when it comes out. If you go see this movie, it will surprise you when you least expect it and Jackie Chan and Steve Coogan were excellent.

Well, based on YOUR review and not the trailer, I'll probably go see it.

The Sentinel commented that it didn't have enough "heart," an ingredient essential in any Disney movie.

But I'll take your word for it.

Thanks!

Like I said...it is a Walden Media movie distributed by Disney. So it's a Jackie Chan movie really. But it is very good. Also...keep your eyes open during the movie. You tell me if I am wrong...BUT...in the movie they show the ?academy of science building? outside of this building there is a ball thing that reminded me of the TimeKeeper.

If you like Jackie Chan movies like Shanghai Knights, you will like this movie.

Saw it this morning. I thought it was very good! IMO, it did have the heart of a Disney film, and it is one of the best live-action Disney films that I have seen. I just hope everyone else will take the chance to see it! :D

Saw it last night.

MUCH better than I was expecting. I had been fearing it would be bad, but it turns out to be extremely enjoyable and a cute little film.

All the kids at the screening were going crazy for it, laughing and cheering.

I thought it was funny. Jackie chan did an excellent job. Kids seemed to like him a lot. The guy who played Phileius was funny. But I adored how all these other stars ended up making appearances in the movie. Worked perfectly for the way the movie kept changes locations.

I'm soooo glad

I am so gld you liked it cat...I had a feeling you would. I don't intentionally steer anyone wrong. Like I had said I had feared the worst and was pleasantly surprised. The kids loved it and the whole theatre was chuck full of people who enjoyed it when we went. I hope people will see past the trailera and go and make their own decision. I plan to keep letting people know to go give it a chance.

This would not surprise me, mostly because I am certain that the Cinderella Castle is shown over Florida in the poster! Did anyone else happen to notice that? Look really close...

(You can see the poster as a "download" on that site, but you can even see the top of the castle to your left on that main page! Download the "desktop image" to see the whole thing, just like the posters at the cinema.)
