Hi there everyone. Our next trip is fast aproaching. We arive on New Years Day and have Quick Silver all set up for transportation with a schduled grocery stop. All of a sudden is just ocurred to me that, "It is New Years Day, most stores might be closed!" We really need to stop and get some things and our only opprotunty to do this is on the way in. So for the locals and others who have arived on Major Holidays, are we out of luck or are some stores always open? Do you think I should call Quick Sliver today just to be sure it will be OK?
I have already prepared myself for the fact that it is very likely our room will not be ready when we get there (around noon). Since the parks will be busy and the weather looks good (coming from Michigan) we plan on hanging at the resort (VWL) swimming in the pool and then showing my 12 year old niece who has never been there before the monorail resorts. (or riding a bike to Fort Wilderness to check out the petting farm and camp fire.)
Thanks everyone. A trip report will follow in a few weeks!!!!!!!
Happy New Year to everyone too, may 2004 be truely blessed! :sohappy:
