Are they really all booked

I am hoping to stay at one of the monorail resorts during the week of Halloween. We stayed at the contemporary last year during Halloween. I remember being able to easily find a room at all three resorts during this same time last year. When I look today, it seems like everything is booked up on the monorail line. Do you think Disney will open up more rooms or are they really all booked up for Halloween week? I even looked the second week of November and everything was booked up then as well.

Are they booked every night of your stay? There are anecdotal reports of length of stay parameters being used. (not booking for too long or too short of a stay).

What dates are you searching? I was just on looking at rates during the last week of October and see rooms available at Grand Floridian and Bay Lake Tower. The dates I was searching was 10/29-11/4.

I am sorry. I forgot to add that I am trying to get a room using the magical holiday room offer. I am searching the dates 10/29 - 11/3. The only resort that has rooms under that offer is grand Floridian. I was hoping to get either the contemporary or Polynesian but nothing is available at either one. Is it common for them to open up more rooms for that special offer? I just received the special offer code in the mail. Do the rooms book up that fast for those kind of offers? I am thinking about booking at grand Floridian just to be safe and changing my reservation if something comes available at the contemporary or Polynesian.

The discount may not have been available for one or both of them.. if it was, there's probably a limited amount of rooms assigned to the promotion.

My last trip had a promotion going on for 8 out of 9 nights.. I only got a discount for 5 out of those 9 nights, not all of them were applicable.
