Are the new celebrate balloons for sale at MK?

I noticed on the what will you celebrate commercials, parade, and advertising that disney shows a lot of these cool looking new balloons. They are mickey shaped but with solid colors.. pretty cool looking.

Anyway, are those types of balloons actually available in the parks to bring back to your room or are they just for advertising the celebration thing?

There is a version of this type of balloon available...actually, I think it's been available in one form or another since WDW opened, and probably before that at Disneyland. The one currently sold in-park has the Mickey-shaped balloon enclosed within a clear, regular balloon. I was lucky enough to receive a birthday balloon arrangement from the WDW florist recently, and it featured the Mickey balloons, but without the clear, outer balloon.

I wonder - could you buy one of those clear covered ones and then pop the clear cover so that only the mickey balloon was left? :shrug: I agree, the promotion balloons are kind of neat looking.

I think you could pop the clear covering carefully, I did once but it looked weird because the mickey head balloon inside looked duller. I don't know. :shrug: But when I popped the clear part I had already had the balloon for about five weeks. Those balloons last forever.
