Are snack and sundries prices posted anywhere?

On a recent thread I did a comparison of purchasing spring water at Publix versus Spring water at the parks and came up with an eye opening $96.00 savings for roughly a week worth of bottled water for a family of four if you do not do the meal plan and use snack credits for water (which is a waste of credits IMO). In the interest of a little curiosity I was wondering is anyone happens to know if prices are posted anywhere on the interweb for bags of chips, soda and juice in containers (not fountain), granola bars, sunscreen and any other items that you usually buy within the parks for personal consumption (not souvenirs). We always do a car service with a stop at Publix and I knew we were saving money by doing so but after doing the math on just the water I am interested in putting in the time on comparing some other items as well to see exactly (or close to it) how much a family can save by doing this on a trip to the world. Car service costs around $70 plus the tip so even on water we are ahead of the game but curiosity is getting the better of me. Heck, even if someone is at the parks now or just returned and happens to remember some of these prices that would be great. I will do my best to keep up and report my numbers.

Thanks for the help guys!

Most of the menus posted online have various snack prices. To get an idea of the prices for the resort stores, you can compare to the DVC grocery shopping lists. One from 2010 can be found here -> http://advc.disney.go.com/media/dvc...der/GroceryList_SaratogaSpringsResort_NEW.pdf Keep in mind that the prices may have changed, and that non DVC resorts carry a much smaller selection of food.

I do strongly suggest not bothering with bottled water. Get a good reusable bottle (and filter if you must) and just refill that. Your wallet and the planet will thank you.

Or look into Amazon Pantry (or one of the shopping services like Garden Grocer or WeGoShop). If the food stop is the only reason for you to get car service you can save even more by using one of those.

My Disney Experience App shows prices of snacks in the restaurant section...Click the name of the restaurant and or snack Kiosk name and scroll down. You will then find the menu that will expand showing all prices for snacks and meals..

Thanks for that! No, the grocery stop is not our only reason. Our luggage stays with us 100% of the way so no waiting for it to arrive at the room, faster arrival at the resort and less chance of a log jamb at check-in were all of our reasons. While I agree with the refillable water bottle sadly many do not and I am just putting together some apples to apples comparisons more than anything.

Allears.net usually has a pretty updated list

Any chance you can post a link? Sorry I don't frequent that one and tried but was unable to find anything. Specifically looking for what you can buy in the parks, resort eateries and shops not so much the actual delivery services. I will do my best to keep everyone up to date with my comparisons but admittedly probably only able to work on this on weekends with 12 hour workdays.

Yeah...not looking for restaurant dining but rather snacks, sodas and other items you might typically buy at the resort to stock up the hotel room. Pretty much just looking to educate those who go in blindly thinking they can buy this stuff in the parks/resorts and not get fleeced....which they are most definitely getting.

NO...before everyone goes haywire I am not saying Disney does not have the right to charge whatever profit margin they like. It is a vacation venue and this happens at virtually every vacation hot spot nationwide but I do want to point out that there are other options that might make more sense to some on a budget or just cost conscious.
