I really cannot think of any reason why not... perhaps there is something that I haven't even considered. What I have considered is that, to me, it would be more of a hassle to have them then not. Seems like one of those useless inventions to me. Bulky and with no real purpose or easy storage.

So I had to Google it because I have never heard of it. I don't see any reason they would not allow it as it does not cause a disturbance or inconvenience for other guests and does not appear to be any more intrusive that a cell phone case.

Although I have to say other that using it as a handle while you are using the phone I don't see the purpose of it. Looks like something a person will make bunch of money on and it will be gone in 6 months.

They may be allowed, but if they're used in the manner I believe they're being used, they're a PITA -- my guess, folks are using them to hold their phones/tablets above their heads when blocking the view of folks behind them (incidentally recording video of an event).

That could be, but, I don't think it is something that is required to do the same thing without them. It doesn't even extend the level it is held at, so, just for the sake of not letting it slip out or their hands I don't see an change in the outcome at all.
