Are Night shows for Extra Hours Only?

I'm looking at a website that has each park's hours and the times of the night shows. Most of the times the park closes at the same time the show starts. For example, MK closes at 8pm but the Happily Ever Show starts at 8pm. Does this mean that if you don't get to stay for the extra magic hours, that you can't see the shows? Thanks.

If you are staying off property (I'm assuming that's why you can't stay for extra magic hours?) you are still allowed to watch the fireworks or whatever show is happening at "close"

You can stay for the night show. At 8 PM, people who don't get the EMH can't go on any more rides or purchase anything, but they can stay for the night show.

On nights when there's no EMH and the night show starts at closing time, the presumption is everyone can stay for the night show, but again, that's when all the rides are shut down, so, there's nothing to do but see the night show.

In general, you have about an hour to wander out of the park when the park closes for you.

No lol everyone can watch. For Magic Kingdom at least, having the fireworks at park closing is a tactic to get everyone on Main Street so they can kick them all out faster and stop people from heading back in to the park easier.
