It appears that they started separating dining credits by adult and child back in 2020. However, there is a post on the Plan Disney website that says that for the 2024 plan credits are not broken down by adult meals vs child meals, it is simply a quick service credit. Is this correct?

I wouldn’t trust that reply from Plan Disney.
In the overview of the QS dining plan it includes this:
- Guests ages 3-9 must order from a children's menu where available.
