Are beverages allowed on rides?

Hi all!

It's been a while since I've posted! This might appear as a silly question for such Disney experts like yourselves. But I was wondering, am I allowed to purchase an ICEE frozen drink or ice cream in the park and take it on a ride? Specifically, Magic Kingdom.
I'd assume not... But want to make sure since in the past I've never taken one on a ride thinking they'd just turn me away.

THANK YOU! :)
& have a magical day!

We have taken bottled beverages on attractions, to most recent memory (June 2016) we walked onto small world, Pirates, Living with the Land, and the People Mover with capped bottled beverages in our hands. No one said anything to us. We did this in July at Disneyland on a few attractions.

I just remember, one time in June hubby had a fountain soda (he was almost done) and we were getting ready to board small world and he was asked to dispose of it. And I did see some people in other lines finishing their ice cream bars by the load area. So maybe they allow capped beverages because they are less likely to spill?

Drink up before you ride. Theres too much food stuff, food wrappers, drink spills already left behind on ride cars. If you do bring a capped bottled beverage in your hands, most CM's will remind you not to consume it on the ride. With the jostling around spills are easily made, left behind for the next riders to have to deal with.

I once went on tower of terror with my coffee cup. It still had coffee, but the CM didn't say anything because I'm guessing they assumed it was empty. Well. That was a mistake. My brain must not have been functioning that morning. At the first drop I saw coffee floating up, clamped my hand down over the top of the cup and laughed hysterically for the rest of the ride. Luckily nobody else got dosed in coffee, and I'll never make that mistake again.

That is awesome. I'm glad no one else had to suffer. :P

I was asked to finish my fountain drink before getting on The People Mover but since that trip I've see several people with drinks on the ride. I guess it depends who is at the gate and how strict they are.

No eating, drinking, smoking, or flash photography.

whew I thought sure someone else would post this before me
Well.... except for Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Peter Pan, right? I mean normally when I ride them I feel like I'm in a disco with all the flashes so I just assumed that those were the exceptions to the rules? Right?
