AR Cell phone game ideas for theme parks

This idea is based largely around using the same tech from pokemon go on a smaller scale from within the theme parks. Take men in black for example. It would start by going to a ride like Men in black at universal. You would scan a qr code outside the entrance and download the MIB game app. You can then go on the ride que and scan your vehicle in the que to log your scoring in the men in black. This will then be made part of your score for the day at MIB training facility. Then after you leave the ride you can use a special AR camera app on your phone which will detect random geotagged hot spots where there are various aliens that are also on the loose. You would then use the zapper in the game to zap at the aliens until they are eliminated. The aliens can range from small little aliens all the way up to giant monster encounters requiring multiple people to take it down. When not in game you can keep an eye on your current MIB score of hunting aliens as well as scores of those who have logged the highest scores of the day in the training facility.

A similar thing might also be useful for parks like sea world. The app would come with a series of different games such as scavenger hunt or escaped. In scavenger hunt you would be shown a picture of an animal and would use the ar app to take a picture of the same animal thus identifying it. You would then be told something interesting about that species. In the escaped game, you would have a series of random animals that escaped and thus you would need to find these hidden animals by randomly finding various geotagged spots where an animal might be hiding. The challenge would be to find all the missing animals which may be just about anywhere from a trash can to an animal enclosure. This is just a couple of ideas that come to mind. Anyone got some more?

Something similar to what Pal Mickey was intended to be, albeit now freely updatable. And I agree about Sorcerers, but updated to add Tommorowland.

Technically sorcerors of the magic kingdom is barely AR. Its like comparing a text adventure game to the witcher 3. What I am suggesting is far more elaborate. Basically what would happen instead is you would download the app and then head to a randomly chosen geotagged area. There you would trigger an event in game that would set the stage for the next big part of the story........but that is not the only thing it would unlock. While playing you might also encounter another random geotagged spot with another "quest" giver asking you to search for something or help with something. In return you get useful items to aid you in the story. Take for example you can be meeting buzz lightyear at Space ranger spin then suddenly encounter a geotag encounter for wreck it ralph and fixit felix. You help him spot all the holes in the wall and he in turn gives you a useful item for later. See where I am going with this. Your adventure is no longer just a singular linear path with just one destination per path. There is great potential in this tech but so far no one has yet realized what could be done with it. Add in the fact that tablets are also becoming more common and its no longer simply just small screen phones alone. Honestly Im surprised disney has not looked into it already.

I mean Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom as a app were you get different cards, and level up their cards while buying, and getting cards in daily free pack while doing quests.

You might be able to even remove the physical cards altogether and instead you can get the spells as rewards from the quests. Then again there may also be things you can find as part of the geotagging. Take for example, you could find a loot pinata using your ar scanner and when you finish the mini game you get a few random virtual spell cards. There could even possibly be spell card rewards for going on certain rides. Go on the peter pan ride and then thanks to the gps detecting you being on the ride you will get a message from peter pan followed by a spell added.
