Anybody got any recent updates on crowds at Aquatica? I know it was supposed to be bad in July but i'm just wondering if its eased off at all lately? Im hoping to go next week.

It might not be as crowded next week, local schools in the Orlando area start back up. So at least the locals won't be there!

Got to Sea World about noon yesterday. Aquatica was closed due to capacity and the will reopen at 3:30 signs were up. Should slow down in September during the week probably.

It is a small park compared to Disney's as far as capacity crowd so it has to close more often-everyday so far.

It is a small park compared to Disney's as far as capacity crowd so it has to close more often-everyday so far.

Just to clarify, Aquatica's estimated capacity is the same as Blizzard Beach at around 8,000 people, but is less than Typhoon Lagoon, which holds an estimated capacity of around 11,000 people.

Disney's haven't hit capacity like Aquatica has because Aquatica is the new toy in town, so people want to go and check it out. It's not to say one park is better than the other because who built them, it's just how it goes, if it's new and shiny, people are curious and check it out, especially if they're used to something that's been there for a while, even though what's been there is quality stuff and a lot of fun.

Of course, the parks can fit more people in as they have all done from time to time.
