April weather

We took our first trip in August this year. As you all know it's is RIDICULOUSLY hot and humid. I am taking my teenage daughter at the end of April 2019. What will the weather be like? I read during the day 80's, and I'm assuming it wont be humid like it is during the summer months. Just not sure what to pack. We didn't bring pants on our last trip, or even tshirts for that matter. Will we be okay in tank tops and shorts/capris the entire trip in April?

That's what my husband and I always wear. We usually go the last week in April. The humidity isn't usually terrible unless it is about to storm or just stormed.

I went this past April with my sister-in-law and mother-in-law and we all wore t-shirts/shorts/capris for the four days we were there. Very warm, but the humidity is definitely not as oppressive as it is in August.

Weather in April can be variable. But you'll be fine in shorts & tees. I would bring a light weight jacket, just in case. One year, it was rather breezy & chilly - in the upper 60s. Felt darn good as I knew May was just a few weeks away.

This is one of our favorite times to visit the world...you are correct that it's usually warm, but not oppressive. When we were there, there was one day out of 7 that was HOT (90+)...depending on your tolerance for heat/cold, I would STILL bring 1 pair of jeans and one jacket/fleece pullover JUST IN CASE. The buses are notorious for "cranked" AC at night when it starts to cool down. ENJOY your trip!

With Florida it's all about the fronts. You can be 80 degrees in January - Then a front moves in for a couple three days and the temps drop into the 40's. End of April should be comfortable in MCO. You should be looking at mid-to-low 80's as a high with low 70's/high 60's for a low.

Nice to think ahead and prepare. The best way to finally know what to expect is the 10 day forecast at trip time. You will at least have a good idea of what to expect and pack accordingly.
