April visit

We usually go to WDW in late May or mid October, but next year are considering going during Spring Break week, which may be a big mistake, crowd wise. This would be mid-April. Has anybody visited the parks during this times and will share opionions of what you did or did not like, the typical operating hours, etc.

Went the other year for spring break. Weather was great...everyone else thought so, too!!!:lol:
Place was packed and the lines were long...go with the flow! :wave:

How much busier is it compared to August?

Crowds are part of the magic especially when watchin all the wonderfull shows that Disney puts on. Some of my favorite trips to both Disney World and Disney Land were when they were most crowded.

I guess it all depends on when Easter is. The two weeks surrounding Easter are very busy. We usually travel in April and find the weather to be wonderful and the crowds not too bad. If your Spring Break happens to fall around the Easter holiday, don't worry too much, you will still have a great time. Don't forget the parks are open late then too.

This was just after Easter...very crowded just a little worse than August (at least the first week of Aug this year). We had a great time though.
