April 6th-13th! Anyone? Anyone?

Hey everybody!

This is a note to anyone travelling down to Disney during the week of April 6th - 13th. A couple of weeks ago, I sent Disney an email sharing my disappointment with the awful park hours for that week. But, much to my dismay, yesterday I saw that Disney ACTUALLY REDUCED the hours for that week!

I received a phone call today from a 'Guest Relations Person in the Executive Office" saying that they would continue to look at the hours for those dates and they could get changed.

If you are heading down during that week, please write Disney ASAP. For some reason this week has the worst posted hours of the next TWO MONTHS! Also, there are NO E-Ticket nights during this week!

I am hoping that if enough people write, something could happen! <wishing upon a star>

Stinks doesnt it. Don't feel to bad though, last time we were there, the latest for MK was 9pm and for MGM was 7pm. Maybe your not as unlucky as you think.

Those hours don't seem so bad. But then again, I usually go during the least crowded times of the year so I am used to shorter hours, and shorter lines. For your sake I hope they do change the hours. Try to have a wonderful time either way!!!

Don't worry... I wll have a great time!! And I'm sorry if it seems like I keep complaining!! I just really want to be in the parks at night! So, hopefully it will change!

I know those hours seem really short. I was there last month and they were even shorter, but we still managed to everything we wanted. Since the Easter crowds will be gone, you should be fine. Say Hi to Minnie for me.:animwink:

hallowboy11, I'm glad you posted the change. The last time I had checked Disney's site, Monday the 8th the MK was open until 9:00 P.M., with fireworks scheduled for 8:30. Now it's changed to 7:00 for closing, but under the link for shows, it still has fireworks at 8:30!:veryconfu

I did send an e-mail pointing this out, and asking them to reconsider their hours for spring break crowds. Haven't received a reply yet, and I would be surprised if I did. Oh well, without the fireworks we'll have a wonderful Disney time!

Howdy Hey! I ll be there too!!! Staying at the CBR!!! MY FAV! But yea those hours do stink dont they! I printed up the hours when they came out, and have changed 3 times already. Hopefully they will take a step back and realize that and maybe change them, but from what I heard from guest services, dont count on it....oh well i leave on thursday and that makes......2 days before i leave, and 3 before im there!
