We stayed at the Sheraton Safari Resort in Lake Buena Vista for the second time....great place to stay outside of Disney.
April 29th: Epcot was packed. We were able to get on Sorin 3 times. What a great ride. This ride reminds me of the old Horizon and World In Motion rides which anyone can get on. This is a ride built for all to enjoy.
The menu at the Land has changed and being a food junkie...i can tell you I enjoyed this menu. We ordered a soup, salad, and some meat and rice oriental dish (forgot the name). We then shared it all and it was great food. Also same price aas a 2 burgers.
FLOWER FESTIVAL: nicer then at other times. Nice butterfly Area which is new. And I just found the gardens to be amazing.
Finally ILLUMINATIONS.....the show was delayed for 20 min due to some issues. Finally when the show started...they had sound system problems because we were standing facing USA with SSE behind us and could hear the music at a distance. So the speakers in this ware....just were not working correctly.
But we loved the day.
APRIL30th
Animal Kingdom. We never give this park a chance. We always rush in...do the big rides and then leave to MGM. This time we said we would do ALL the shows and actually enjoy the day at the park. Well it was again HOT (about 91) and sticky. But we did The Lion King Festival which we thought was fantastic. Then Tarzan Rocks....which we did not like at all. its one big rock concert....period. We explored other areas we have never gone to and really noticed that this park is actually turning into a nice park to visit.
We saw Lucky and I think its great that he can walk on his own.....but it was really no big deal. but again...nice to see something diffrent.
This weekend was HOT HOT and HOT!!!!
Looking foward to Food and Wine Festival in October. :wave:
