You're in WDW over the Easter weekend - you're going to find it very busy :(

The best plan is to hit the parks very early and make the best use of Fast Pass - otherwise you'll find lines approaching 90 minutes plus for the big attractions

Apr 7th - 12th here - going for my b-day (leave to come home on my b-day) and also to celebrate the 7th anniversary of when DH and I met (we met on Easter)

Hmm what about the week of like April 16th? Does it calm down after Easter and Spring breaks by then??

We've generally been to WDW over the Easter fortnight - while this is a busy time it is managable. Typically, the nearer to Easter Sunday the busier it gets and then it quietens down afterwards. The park opening times reflect these busier times

We just got back and the crowds were a little crazy, but not as bad as we kept hearing. Best to go first thing in the am and get your fast passes and sometimes you can even get in stand by which was about 10 mins long.

By late morning all fast passes for Soarin' were gone for the day, by 10pm they were still honoring fast passes some of which were for 11:45pm given out first thing in the am. We went the next day and were there before opening and once the ropes were moved DH raced to the ride and got 2 passes as stand by was already 30 mins long, he got to ride Mission Space and Test Track, 2 times each. That first day it was pouring down rain all day, the next day it was super nice, sunny and hot out.
