Apricot Lane to open at DTD right in the heart of Hyperion Wharf territory

That store looks like it would be a welcome addition to just about any strip mall. Not so much a vacation destination though.

I guess stores like that make sense in even the DTD District at Disneyland since it's in the heart of a city...but I don't go to DTD WDW to spend $108 on a pair of jeans... just saying...

What was the point of moving Harley Davidson then? I was under the impression that they had to move to make room for whatever they were going to do to that area for HW?

So does this add the the rumor Hyperion is dead or does it confirm it's moving ahead? Not really sure what this means other than it's a shopping spot...

Why would any retailer move into the center of a ghost town?

Either they're giving the space to them at little to no rent, or there are more stores lined up. It wouldn't make sense for a store like this to move into an empty area otherwise.

A store like Ridemakerz may be able to draw people into the area; nothing about this store sounds like it would be a draw by itself.

So glad they're installing a store that's been at my local mall for a year and a half.

Next we'll find out Nordstrom is going into the Mannequins place.

At first I thought this thread was announcing the name of the new passage that will be added behind RR.

Not sure what this means for changes to HW. I think when they announce what is happening in some of the other venues it will be clearer. Sounds like Disney has had some success with the DL DTD business model and want to bring some of that to WDW. Fortunately we have much more space than DL for other offerings too. Fingers crossed the HW concept still has a green light because I still think it is a winner.

I think it is the totality of all the offerings in one place that will set DTD apart from just about anywhere else in the US. Certainly the southeast.
