Applying at Universal?

Does Universal have a casting center similar to the way Disney and Sea World do where you can apply in person? All I'm finding is the online application and I would much prefer to apply in person. Anyone have any info about the process?

Don’t bother going to their casting office. The security guard at the doors just gives you a piece of paper telling you about job descriptions and to apply on line. That's all I know, I never received a call from my application.

Good Luck!

I applied online also and haven't heard anything back. I'd have thought they'd be just as desperate for staffing as Disney and get right back to you but I suppose not.

They are pretty desperate, thats what is so odd that they havent called back. The hiring events are really good and most people get hired on the spot, there should be one for the summer coming very soon.

My best advice is to apply and give a follow up call. Also, if you have access to the park already, go and try to hunt out a lead or supervisor in whatever line of business you're trying to apply for. It's all about the contacts.

Just out of curiosity, what line of business are you trying to apply for?

^I'm not looking for anything in particular, just something front line in the parks like food and beverage or attractions. I live right down the road from Universal so I thought it'd be a nice convienant part time job. I've worked for Disney and Sea World so I think it would be neat to try Universal now.
