AP rates for Christmas?

Today my extended family decided to plan a trip to WDW for Christmas of 2005. My wife and I had wanted to go next spring but logistics wouldnt allow it. Anyways, my sister in law and I have somewhat appointed ourselves trip planners. We will be a party of at least 8 adults and 5 children. What I am trying to find out is what has been offered for AP rates on the holiday season if any and who has used them. I think we can do it cheaper if we do room only reservations with an AP and buy tickets seperate. Not all family members will be staying or doing the same thing so I am looking for examples for just my family...2 adults, 2 girls(10,9) and a 2 year old boy. We want to stay at an All-Stars resort and we are looking at most likely 8 days of actual park time( 2 days traveling). I saw what last years discount was offered for for dates but dont knw how much the actual discount was. If it is only available for a couple of nights of our stay I dont know if the extra price of the AP will be worth it. Most likely will buy a PAP to be able to get into the water parks and DisneyQuest depending on the weather and the financial feasability. We have only ever gone in April so we dont know how much swimming weather there will be. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
