do i have to have my passes to get free parking? reason i ask is i will pick them up at the ticket window when i get there may 12th, do i pay for parking first or should i go to DS and get them and then go to the parks

You can either pick them up in DS or pay for parking and then, after you get your cards from guest services, they'll refund you the parking fee.

Yeah, I believe that's the case, just give them your parking receipt from when you arrived that day and they should just give you a cash refund.
