hey raven, i have a quick question. with our upcoming trip to DL in August (we are current AP holders in WDW) would you recommend us renewing our passes at the end of July (when we leave WDW) for 2014 and including DL as a premium pass holder? we would then get at the DL AP perks as well, right? Thanks

Hey, coach! In regards to your question, exactly what @GiveMeTheMusic said. If you get the Premiere pass, you'll get a 20% discount off food and a 15% discount of merchandise. You also get Downtown Disney discounts, as well as discounts at the shopping center across the street from the resort. Plus, if there are special AP events going on, you'll be able to participate in those as well. Sometimes they'll leave Fantasyland and Tomorrowland open for annual passholders after the park closes. They've also been showing Disney movies on Main Street for annual passholders. You get much more with a DLR pass.

Hopefully the next screening won't be on a school night. I bet it will, though.

This is Limited Time Magic... Sometimes things aren't creative, LOL. I know APs will be willing to go see this, especially since the Imagineers will be there, taking questions. The AP special events are usually the same. Screenings, extra park hours, parties, invitations to see new attractions early... This is a little different.

It's better than nothing (cough, WDW, cough).

Since Limited Time Magic has started this year, the Disneyland Resort has been hosting separate Limited Time Magic events for annual passholders. Every week, it's been something different! It looks like this will be continuing for the rest of the year! It doesn't look like WDW is doing the same for their annual passholders.:( I'm sure something will be going on during your trip!
