AP Discount Question

Does anyone know when the January 2010 AP Discount rates will be released for the resorts? I'm booking a trip for the first time with an AP, and I'm trying to decide where to stay. Since I can't find the discounted resort rates, it's making my planning a little difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Planning and AP Discounts don't really go together. Current AP rates are only up to 24 Dec.

Your best bet is to book what you can afford and adjust the booking once the discounts are announced [if they are].

I agree......book your room now & call to have adjustmnt when A/P discounts are announced!!!!!......Hopefully they will be out soon.....I booked mine for Feb/March yesterday @ full rate but expect discount soon....:shrug:

Thanks for your help guys. Just so I have an idea, will the discounts for January most likely be close to the current discounts? According to Mousesavers, AKL and WL are both currently $139/night. If I could get a rate similar to that, I would definitely book one of those hotels. If it were significantly higher though, I would probably just book a moderate resort. Thanks again!

It depends on the dates within the month probably. No one here will be able to tell you for sure what the rates will be or if they will be available at all. The best way to get an indicator would be to look at discounts from the same time as last year. That could lead you towards what you might see. Of course, that is definitely not a guarantee.
