I know you guys have probably answered this a million times, but I couldn't find it. Is there anything special going on in any of the parks for Xmas day? I didn't know which park I should plan on going to. I'll be there from 18-31 so I will see everything the days before, but is there anything special, on Xmas or Eve, at any of the parks that I shouldn't miss?

Thanks

New Years Eve the main three parks have special fireworks to bring in the New Year. I will be down there this year for the second time for New Year's Eve. It is packed at all the parks on that day. I will be going to see the New Year's Eve fireworks at Epcot as I like think those are the best, but that is my opinion. I will be checking out the Magic Kingdom New Year's Eve fireworks the night before New Year's Eve when they do a preview of them.

If you have never done New Year's Eve at one of the Disney Parks you will want to experience it. It is a great experience, but expect really long lines for everything. I went two years ago for New Year's Eve at Epcot and by 2pm the wait time for Soarin' & Test Track was around 5 hours.

Yeah, I'm set for NY Eve. I'll be at the Dessert Party in Tomorrow Land at 11. It's a plexy covered terrace so even if the weather is bad we should be set. I just can't find anything special for Xmas day. I can also only find reservations for restaurants in Epcot so I didn't know if there was nothing going on there and that is why. I saw that the "Lights at Epcot" were canceled after 08, but I don't know what that really meant. I figure they will have some lights there, right?

Yeah, we expect long times. That is one reason we are going the week before too. We hope to get on all the popular rides the first week and will just wander, shop, and go on the stupid stuff Xmas week. I heard somewhere that they don't check the date on the Fastpasses at a lot of the places. Has anyone tested this? I was thinking of getting a few the first week and try to use them when it is really busy Xmas week.

To answer your question, no there is nothing extra special on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. On Christmas Day, I suggest visiting any other park besides Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom will hit capacity first, so it will be the busiest.

You "scored " Wishes on NYE ?! NICE! Bring an extra stomach. But as the poster above noted nothing special on x-mas eve. We were lucky to get Cinderella's royal table for breakfast on x-mas morning.
