Heading to Disney in September on the 6th , was just wondering if anything else will be open by then in the new fantasyland area.

As of now not much, but maybe the tents in Storybook Circus? But then even that is a maybe, don't count on much as November is looking the best for a majority of it, but have fun on your trip!

I think all of Dumbo's Circus will be open by September.

I think you will see a lot of detail for the rest of FLE by then, but I don't know how many of the walls will be down and if you'll be able to do anything in FLE besides look at what's getting ready to open before Thanksgiving.

I highly doubt anything beyond what is open now will be open by then. Slight chance of the tents in Storybook Cirucs being open, but I still think they have a ways to go on them. There are even rumors that Pete's Silly Sideshow won't open until next year. As for the the rest of the area, since they are doing AP previews in November I doubt they will be letting the public into that area before then. Based on recent construction photos I think they still have more then a month's worth of work to complete before that area is ready for the public.

Not that it lends credence to anything opening by September, but there are almost ALWAYS general (unannounced) previews prior to Passholder previews. With a project of this scope, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see everything open a week or two before the announce Passholder previews. You don't want your CMs to have their first experiences w/ guests to be during announced previews that folks have planned trips around. Typically, unannounced previews that only occur on certain dates and at certain times occur well ahead of announced (and advertised) previews.

For comparison, Passholder previews of Mission: SPACE began August 1, 2003. Unannounced previews began around June 10, 2003. Expedition: Everest opened officially in April 2006 but previews began around January 1, 2006 (with AP and CM previews about 4 weeks later). They could have Mermaid opened pretty soon if they wanted to. It would be construction walls everywhere but that is the nature of previews. Remember the Soarin' previews in mid-March 2005 (6 weeks before official opening and a month before AP previews)?
