anything going on for mickey's 75th

i have heard plenty of rumors for rides shows etc. did we all forget that its mickey's 75th i mean the main mouse is only going to turn this once something should be done to celebrate it and i have heard some rumors but i don't think any are true anyone else hear anything ;et me know.....

i saw and heard mickey mania parade but i guess that died...:veryconfu

There is a massive retro merchandise campaign featuring Mickey in the old MMC logo.

There is merchandise with 75 Years of Mickey logos.

There are 75 statues of Mickey in front of the MK decorated and designed by different artists and celebrities.

:veryconfu I would think they would at least have a parade for Mickey's 75th-- Any news/thoughts about that?? It's about time for a new one, or at least an additional one!! :lol: Anything at MGM? A display/show with the history/pictures etc. of the last 75 years?? I have heard of nothing-- I do not understand! CM'S have you heard of ANYTHING???

i heard from my friends who work at disney they were supose to bring back mickey mania parade w/ a new twist like at the end change the song to singing happy birthday. i wouldn't mind seeing the old show that they use to do at mickey's birthdayland i mean it didn't make sense then but it makes plenty of sense now and the show area they use to use is vacent now in toontown fair.

no. no new parades. and they didn't bring back Mickey Mania. it's too soon for a new one! they just started the ones they have during Walt's 100th!

as turkey leg boy said, they are celebrating Mickey's 75th with merchandise and the 75 Mickey statues at MK's entrance. which is better than nothing! look around on this site; i'm sure you'll find some pictures of the statues. they're really cool!
