Anything done by January?

Hey, I've already mentioned when my trip is several times (January 8th-10th), but FL is my favorite land and I was wondering what exactly would be closed and finished when I was there?

If anyone could provide a list, that would be helpful, thanks!

January 2011? Nohing of the Expansion will be anywhere close to being done. Only thing in the immediate timeline is that the remaining interactive elements of the Pooh queue will probably be online before your trip.

They said they'd give plenty of notice before TTF closed, and your trip is only about 6 weeks away, so it'll still be open.

Now if it were January 2012? Who knows...

TTF?

Ok, thanks, I just needed to know which attractions will be closed. It appears that a lot more will be open than I thought! :)

I knew that, but let me rephrase: what attractions will be riddled with construction, etc.? I'm talking about being completely blocked with only a little entrance due to construction, because I don't want Fantasyland to be completely ruined.

I think that, as of now, everything in Fantasyland is open and construction-free except for the major expansion.

I know Pooh has re-opened (and the balance of its new queue features will all work soon). To the best of my knowledge the Tea Cups have re-opened, with a new roof (I might be wrong...I've been out of the loop for about a week).

Other scrims came down a while ago.

Come January, they might be working on the new Dumbo, since they recently filed a permit for Dumbo and Barnstormer. But otherwise, things should be fairly normal.

As of right now, the only construction in Fantasyland is the expansion. All the rides are completely scrim and/or plywood free. Pooh, Peter Pan, and Small World are all freshly refurbed, with nothing else scheduled to be spruced up, at least until there's further work on the FLE.

I think you have a skewed view of what is going to happen in Fantasyland -- the things that are there will generally stay there (Dumbo will be relocated and doubled). What is happening in Fantasyland is an EXPANSION -- that is, it's in addition to what is already there. There is a wall that has been erected along the edge of the existing walkway, and it will remain in place until the new expansion is opened way down the road. You won't notice much of anything else different at all.

Yea, that's pretty much what I was asking, just if there were going to be construction walls distracting from the atmosphere.
Thanks!
