I read on the front page of this site that it was rumored that Spectromagic would be cancelled.

On the calender though for the hours, it does list that they will have it.

Has anyone heard anything definate on this?

I've spoken almost every entertainment manager @ MK, and they've all told me the same thing- it's here to stay. The execs did give it serious consideration, until they realized that they aren't saving any money by canceling spectro (since the CM's affected won't be laid off, but rather shifted to other areas.)

Okay I noticed on my latest Mickey Monitor that Spectromagic was still going on, and thats great news. But what I didn't see on the page was the show time for Fantasmic. I was just wondering what was going on with that great show.

I would find it extremely hard to believe that they would cancel fantasmic!...it's extremely popular, and they are making tons of money on it...cuz every kid HAS to have one of those fifteen buck sorcerer mickey spinning things and, of course, you also have to eat supper in the park, and it's the most expensive meal. They would be foolish to cancel ANY nighttime shows completely, and they should have learned this from the Animal Kingdom and Cali Adventure nightmares where everyone is ready to leave the parks by about 2 or 3 pm...

No No No, I'm not suggesting they canceled it. I just found it odd that it wasn't there. While I was at class today thinking about WDW, it came to me that maybe it became a regular thing that it would go on every nite at park close time. Maybe if someone is there can check this out for me.
