ooh! I love the Apprentice...but I'm not gonna get to watch tonight's episode until my DH gets home. (He likes it too) I can't wait to see what happens with Piers...I was kinda sad to see Gene Simmons go last week. For a man who was quite full of himself, I really kinda liked him.

It's not as good as the first or second season, but it's been fun. With the Playboy bunny booted the first week and Jennie booted this week, there's no eye candy left. Bummer.

The guys have definitely taken a more gonzo approach to selling, and it has worked for them. Ivanka was right - if the women lost Marilu, they'd lose every remaining task. She's one of the few people left that I could see "winning" this show. I think Piers is probably the favorite to win.

I should have known that Omarosa (an E list celebrity if there ever was one) would be even more abhorrent than last time. She's intolerable. She won't win, but Trumpy will keep her around for a long time just because she's constantly stirring up doody ... which is good for ratings.

Yeah...last night's episode was a good way of showing Omorosa stirring up more doody. (And it looks like next week she'll be stirring up more!)

I do admit though, I felt kinda bad for Vincent. I thought it was really rude what Piers did to him. I probably would have fired Piers instead.

I think Piers would have been toast if vincent hadn't resigned.

I'm not so sure about that. Piers really shines on every task that has given to the guys team. I have to say that he is my favorite. :) Vincent was more than happy to do the job Piers asked him to do. I think he only really wanted to join the girl's team when he saw Steven Baldwin didn't want to pick up the note. I think Vincent then saw that there might be trouble in the board room with not all of his team agreeing with the task he was given. Piers was just having fun and thought Vincent would come back and join the team when the joke was over. I think Donald really likes Piers but time will tell.

I really liked the spoof on the Sopranos final episode...made me laugh at the end. I thought the Celebrity Apprentice was going to be really dumb, but I find it is actually holding my attention.

That episode gave me a headache. :brick:

I think there is no way Piers should have even been under consideration to get fired. The whole thing was brilliant. He doesn't work at all with Vinnie, so he gets Vinnie out of his hair for a while while playing one on the girls. It was not espionage, he would have been perfectly happy to not get any information (and the girls totally overreacted - it was nothing against them at all). He was maximizing his team's performance while hindering his opponents. It was brilliant.

It all got screwy when Vinnie decided to stay and help the girls. You don't do that. You don't just flip. You may not like your boss, but you must get over it. It's just one task. Trump had already said they'd switch up teams if the girls lost. You don't look half as bad either.

Then Vinnie resigns without defending himself? Come on. That was just another example of showing he, like Jennie (fired last week) are completely out of their element. Business is business, it's nothing personal. That's the only reason Omarosa is still in the game - she knows how to defend herself and find their vulnerable spots. Vinnie deserved to be fired. I would not even think about hiring him after his performance in that task. Ridiculous.

I applaud Piers, I think he played that episode perfectly. He may have lost (I thought the guys should have won though) but he succeeded in getting rid of the weak part of his team. He has by far been the best so far.
