I stayed there in May 2001 while in town on a short business/pleasure trip. We were just looking for somewhere to sleep for the most part, and I suppose Comfort Inn LBV served its purpose. In my opinion, it was a typical 2-3 star hotel. There are much nicer places to stay in that category, but CI LBV has pretty low prices (I think we paid around $40/night?) and the location is great. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a functional room. If you're looking to spend quality time at your hotel, you may want to look around for something more attractive. All Star Resorts aren't priced too much higher and they're a significant step up from CI LBV. To sum it up, CI LBV really left me with an indifferent opinion. I can't brag about it, nor can I complain about it. But I would, and have recommended it to friends just passing through the area in need of a cheap place to stay. Hope that helps! Enjoy your visit!
