Anyone NOW at POP?....Life without fridges??

So are there anyone staying at Pop at this time or very recent? Fridges? Whats life without them?

I really don't think a fridge is a huge deal unless its for medical reasons and they still will accommodate for that.

Pre-refrigerators...we used to fill the sink with ice to get a drink cold overnight.

I've gone to Disney and stayed at Pop Century so many times before fridges were added I don't care either way.

I always get a rental car so I'd go to Walmart, but a cheap styrafoam (SP?) cooler and use that, then throw it away on my last day.

I had to eat my granola bar at room temperature.

It would be a big blow for my family! We always bring our own cereal for breakfast, and having cold milk in the fridge is a wonderful convenience. Without one, we'd be walking somewhere to buy milk every morning... or munching on raw Pop Tarts instead.

We had a fridge when we were at POP last year, and it didnt even work. We had to call the front desk and have them bring us another one. This was after that tasty cake from the 50s prime time went bad

Are they in the process of replacing them? or did they do away with them all together? I have family staying at the POP before our cruise in Feb and one of the selling points for them was the in room refrigerator. eeeek.

I was there last weekend and there was a note on the fridge not to try to use it - they are broken and being replaced. We used a cooler.

Yeah the Ice machine was well used during our trip, but fortunately it kept up with demand. The same couldn't be said of the ice machines for the soda fountains in the food court. Glad I don't drink soda

Should be, but they are having to replace somewhere around 20,000 of these things property wide so anything is possible.
