Anyone know the cost of luggage carts at Orlando International Airport?

Has anyone rented a Smarte Carte luggage cart at Orlando International Airport recently? How much was it, and can you use credit cards?

Per advice given elsewhere in November 2019, MCO luggage cart rental is $5, cash or credit.

Or just do what DH and I do: make our kids carry the luggage, for free.

I know I can rent Smart Cartes at baggage claim upon arrival in MCO. Does anyone know if they take credit cards or is it cash only? Are we permitted to roll the carts all the way over to the Hertz rental car pick-up area? We are very familiar with MCO, and know how to take the elevator from...
