Main question is just how scary is it... I mean what age kids could one expect to take and not have them looking to sleep with mom and dad when they get home.

My wife and I love Horror Nights (2007 will be our 4th). The haunted houses are very intense. To be perfectly honest with you, I would not recomend it for anyone under the age of 12. I am serious. There is A LOT of blood, guts and other forms of bodily waste and fluid. For example, one of the attractions was an insane asylum that had been taken over by the patients. The bathroom scene had to be the most disgusting sight I have ever laid eyes on. It was great. This year the main attractions will be Freddy, Jason and Leatherface....so I am sure the blood and gore will be over flowing. I think Horror Nights is geared towards the 18 to 30 crowd. Alcohol is sold out in the open by scantily clad waitresses and the scare zones (areas that are not indoors) are just as intense as the haunted houses themselves. So depending on how old your kids are and how much they enjoy blood and guts, slasher type fun. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line.

HHN is the best Halloween attraction anywhere, but yeah if your kid isn't good with horror movies I would avoid it.

The bathroom scene that your talking about, would that be the one with "THE SMELL" of the "STUFF" that was thrown all over the walls!!

Whatever you decide here's a link of the event!!
