I used to go to the Dentist when you had something to fear. Back when the dental hygienist was a carry over from a Nazi Camp and the more pain she inflicted the better. Also had a Dentist that had Parkinson's and his hand was shaking like crazy. Didn't instill a lot of confidence back then.

Now, it is easy peasy! Everything is done in a totally painless way and nothing like it used to be or how some of us were brought up in. Dental care is much more important then a lot of people realize. It can be deadly if not taken care of. I had a friend that died of a gum infection because he didn't have some bad teeth extracted. Go, you'll be glad you did. Most Dentist now can offer a sedative to help calm people that are nervous about dental care as well.

When I was a child my Sister and I were taken to a dentist who would not tolerate squirming children, so when we were there he had us "restrained" in the chair and rubber blocks were placed in our mouths to keep them open.
Neither of us went to a dentist for decades after we grew up.
We go now because the current Dentists were not trained by Edger Allen Poe and didn't intern under the Marquis De Sade.

Ah, yes... those were the days. I didn't go for years and finally did wise up and went again. I'm almost 68 and still have all my teeth with only three fillings and one crown. Not bad for a guy that didn't take care of them for a long time.
