Anyone have any guesses about special offers for October?

I'll be in WDW October 11-19......so, you WDW, any guesses on whether or not eir will be any special offers during that time? It would be AMAZING to get free dining or even a per engage off of our resort room.......I could CERTAINLY have fun with that refund!!!!!!!

Those are the dates we knew about. I had hoped they were going to do what they did last year and open it up for all of Oct Nov and Dec.

No. The Food and Wine Festival take up most the time and space during that time of the year.

As far as I know, the dates that have already been released do not include my October dates. However, I now have another question....I didn't realize that you have to be a Disney Visa card holder to qualify for the free dining (last year?). I have already paid cash for our package. So, if there is a discount offered in October and I don't have a Disney Visa, will I not qualify? I don't think that's right! Some people try to pay for everything in cash and not use credit. I guess we could get a Disney Visa, but it's not good for your credit rating to get new credit cards :-/ If you have already paid for you package in full, will they still give you the credit for the discount? It doesn't really sound like it :-/

Most of the time the Disney Visa holders get an few extra days to book the discount and then it opens to everyone.

UGGGGHHHHH we arrive on Oct 3rd and to change every thing to arrive a day earlier would be a major pain in the rump!! Hopefully they will release a room only discount????????????, that would be sweet!!!

Sorry bud. That's why I moved us back to September. The time frame we were looking at wouldn't have been under FD either.

That is true, albeit for ~$1000 more per week if you opt for the meal plan.

We're not using the meal plan unless it is free, and it does not look good for that during our trip right now. It would have been more like $1600 more for us so we decided to pay out of pocket a total of $998 for meals.
