Anyone have a Walt Disney autograph?

I was just wondering if anyone here has an autograph of Walt's. My mother has two pictures and both of them are signed "Best wishes, Walt Disney". Her father used to work at Disneyland and he got these signed for her. We have heard though, that Walt had people sign things for him. So it may not be real. We want to go have it checked out. They're great though. I think as a Disney lover (or collector), an autograph of Walt's is the best thing you could get!

And if it’s genuine, it is worth a good bit of money, too. I’ve seen framed signed checks of his go for as much as $8,000 and that wasn’t even something intended as an autograph. I’ve not heard of him having other people sign his name for him like that but I do know that the stylized version of his signature that you always see was not his real autograph – that was designed by an artist. When he would walk around Disneyland, he would be surrounded by people wanting his autograph and in many cases, someone else had to pull him away because he would have sat there and signed every last one if he could have. If you know the source is genuine, the thing to do would be to make sure that the signature is actually on the picture and not part of the picture.
